We are delighted to offer you the opportunity to step into the role of Assistant Manager at 2Taps Winebar.
This is an important management position within our family-run business and an opportunity to take on greater responsibility, develop your leadership skills and work closely with the General Manager in helping to lead the restaurant and the wider team.
YOUR STARTING PACKAGE £28,000 ANNUAL SALARY
Based on a 40-hour working week
Equivalent to approximately £13.46 per hour
PLUS CARD TIPS
Based on current levels, you can expect to receive a minimum of approximately £150 per week in card tips.
Approx. £7,800+ per year
PLUS WEEKLY CASH TIPS
Cash tips are also shared with the team at the end of each week.
These are currently around:£40–£50 per week
Equivalent to approximately: £2,080–£2,600 per year
Cash tips will naturally vary depending on the amount of cash tips received from guests.

- Taking ownership of the restaurant floor and helping lead successful services
- Supporting, leading and developing the team
- Delivering an excellent guest experience
- Driving sales, upselling and spend per head
- Managing floor plans, staffing and labour effectively
- Maintaining strong food, drink and service knowledge
- Supporting bookings and large parties
- Confidently dealing with customer issues and complaints
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and compliance
- Supporting cashing up and day-to-day financial controls
- Training and coaching members of the team
