Duties
- Define and communicate comprehensive software architecture strategies that support current and future business needs.
- Lead the design of system components, including microservices, APIs, and cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
- Develop detailed technical specifications using UML diagrams and system design principles to guide development teams.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders during requirements gathering to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Oversee the implementation of DevOps practices such as continuous integration (CI), automated testing, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and release management workflows.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and best practices in software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Evaluate emerging technologies like NoSQL databases (MongoDB), message brokers (Kafka), and web frameworks such as Angular, React, Ember.js, or Backbone.js to enhance system capabilities.
Experience
- Proven experience designing large-scale enterprise applications with a strong understanding of solution architecture principles.
- Extensive hands-on experience with programming languages including Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, or JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
- Deep knowledge of cloud architecture concepts involving AWS, Azure, or similar cloud computing platforms.
- Familiarity with web services standards such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, WCF, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Strong background in database management using SQL (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions like MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Experience working within Agile environments employing tools such as Git, SVN, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, or WebLogic for deployment automation.
- Ability to design scalable systems utilizing design patterns, system design methodologies, and best practices for front-end/back-end integration.
