Mind Partners is conducting the search on behalf of a renowned luxury retail client. Our client supplies the UK’s premium restaurants and luxury hotels. Their first UK boutique combines high-end retail with light, product-forward dining.
The luxury flagship store manager will lead all operations, ensuring flawless service, impeccable standards, and an exceptional guest experience across both retail and dining.
What you’ll do
People leadership
- Recruit, train, coach, and supervise a small team up to 5 people..
- Create efficient rotas, set performance expectations, and support development.
- Represent and communicate brand values to deliver a memorable, guest-centric experience.
Retail operations and merchandising
- Maintain an always-stocked retail area with strict inventory control, including expiry-date management and compliant merchandising.
- Use sales data and customer insights to optimise stock planning and merchandising.
- Coordinate with the central warehouse and external suppliers for timely replenishment.
- Foodservice coordination
- Ensure flawless boutique dining service with light, product-forward offerings that showcase flagship items.
- Align front-of-house and kitchen operations for consistent, premium guest experiences.
Purchasing and supplier management
- Manage procurement from the central warehouse and external partners, optimising cost, quality, and lead times.
- Build strong supplier relationships to support reliability and product excellence.
- Customer experience and community engagement
- Build a loyal customer base through expert product knowledge and personalised service.
- Drive events, menu ideas, and social/marketing initiatives to keep the boutique vibrant.
Health, safety, and compliance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal policies; maintain records.
Administration and reporting
- Oversee scheduling, reporting, and inventory control; maintain clear communication with staff and leadership.
- Continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance operations, guest satisfaction, and brand presence; implement initiatives.

- Management experience in a small-scale food retail or light-service environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging a discerning clientele and delivering a warm, inspiring welcome.
- Proven leadership track record—motivating, coaching, and empowering a small team.
- Brand stewardship mindset with enthusiasm for learning brand-wide secrets and reflecting them in practice.
- A good command of French is required.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual/multilingual abilities are desirable.
- Experience in sales management, merchandising, and team supervision.
- Proactive leadership with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Administrative competence with familiarity with relevant software/tools.
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service excellence.
- Passion for retail excellence and the ability to motivate a high-performing team.
Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
