Caretaker & Fleet Assistant required to cover both Colchester and Thetford
East Anglian DriveAbility is an independent charity that specialises in enabling outdoor independence for people who have a disability or who need help getting back to driving. Our team consists of dedicated, enthusiastic and specially trained staff including Occupational Therapists, Approved Driving Instructors and office staff.
We currently have a unique opportunity of a highly motivated person looking for full-time hours to work across Colchester and Thetford.
We’re looking for a reliable and practical individual to join our team as a Caretaker & Fleet Assistant.
This varied, hands-on role includes:
- Cleaning and maintaining our premises
- General site upkeep and minor maintenance
- Helping keep our vehicles clean, tidy and ready for use
- Working across multiple locations
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our service
We’re seeking someone who is:
✔ Practical and proactive
✔ Organised and dependable
✔ Happy working independently
✔ Comfortable with a mix of cleaning, maintenance and vehicle tasks
