Job Title: Support Worker / Care Assistant
24/7 Supported Living
Location:
Birmingham -Handsworth 24/7 support fully flexible 12 hour shifts days and nights
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible shifts available
Salary: Competitive (based on experience)
About the Role
You will support individuals in their own homes within supported living services. This includes providing 24-hour support to vulnerable adults, helping them live safely and independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Support with medication
- Assist with meal preparation and nutrition
- Help with daily routines and household tasks
- Support individuals with appointments and community access
- Maintain accurate care records
- Promote independence, dignity, and choice
- Provide emotional support and companionship
Supported Living (24-Hour Support)
- Work as part of a team delivering round-the-clock care
- Follow care plans and risk assessments
- Support service users with complex needs
- Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment
Requirements
- Caring, reliable, and patient
- Good communication skills
- Right to work in the UK
- Flexibility to work shifts (including evenings/weekends)
- Driving licence preferred
- Previous care experience working with Learning disabilities, Autism and mental health
