Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Robot Welder, for a client located in Ferryhill. This is a Temp to Perm role, working on a 2-shift rotation.
Robot Welder Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operating and monitoring a robotic welding machine.
- Performing precise welds on various material thicknesses.
- Spatter removal during cycle time, interpreting standard operating procedures and technical drawings, inspecting finished components to ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area and strictly following all safety procedures.
Robot Welder Applicants:
- Proficient with manual power tools.
- Possess strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
- Have the ability to interpret SOPs and technical drawings.
- Basic manual welding skills are preferred but not essential.
- The ability to work unsupervised.

- Our client reserves the right to move to 3 shifts, with consultation. (25% shift premium: Sunday 7pm - 6am, Monday to Thursday 11pm - 6am (20 min break). Monday to Thursday - 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Friday 12:30pm - 7:00pm. Monday to Thursday 6:00am – 2:30pm, Friday 6:00am – 12:30pm).

Initially starting on dayshift for induction and training before moving onto a 2-shift rotation. Hourly rates:
Days: £12.71
2-shift: £15.25
Day Shift:
Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 12.30pm.
2-Shifts:
Monday to Thursday 2.30pm – 11pm and Friday 12.30pm – 7pm & Monday to Thursday 6am – 2.30pm and Friday 6am – 12.30pm.
Training and support provided to ensure ongoing development and progression within the business, alongside opportunities to mentor and support less experienced team members. Applicants must be 18 or over for health and safety reasons.
