Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled 360 excavator operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a 360-degree excavator to perform a variety of earthmoving and excavation tasks essential for project success. Your expertise will help ensure efficient site development, safe operations, and timely project completion. Responsibilities
- Operate a 360-degree excavator with precision to perform digging, lifting, trenching, and material handling tasks
- Follow detailed project plans and safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
- Conduct routine inspections of the excavator to ensure optimal performance and identify maintenance needs
- Assist with site preparation activities, including clearing debris and leveling ground surfaces
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines effectively
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed, equipment usage, and safety checks
- Adhere to all safety regulations and report any incidents or hazards immediately
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of excavator components and operation procedures
- Proven experience operating a 360 excavator in construction or similar environments
- Valid commercial driving license with the necessary endorsements for heavy machinery operation
- Excellent understanding of site safety practices and hazard prevention measures
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and site instructions
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team setting
- Physical stamina and dexterity required for demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
Pay: £22.00-£23.00 per hour
