Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Waiter to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Provide detailed menu information, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine or beverage pairings to enhance guest experience.
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout your shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues swiftly.
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with basic food preparation or setup when needed, supporting the culinary team during busy periods.
- Manage time effectively during service hours to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service roles, preferably as a waiter or in guest-facing positions.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques.
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests positively.
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and order calculations accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of culinary practices or previous kitchen experience is desirable.
- A friendly attitude combined with a proactive approach to guest services and upselling opportunities.
