As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a Transport Planner to join our planning team and help support the day-to-day operation of our fleet.
This isn't a role where you'll simply follow a process and tick boxes.

- Enjoys solving problems and finding practical solutions
- Takes responsibility and follows things through to completion
- Understands the importance of customer service and reliability
- Wants to be part of a growing business where their contribution genuinely matters
Previous transport planning experience would be beneficial, but attitude, work ethic and the ability to learn quickly are equally important.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be supporting our Senior Planning Team in the day-to-day running of the operation, helping to ensure vehicles, drivers and customer requirements are planned efficiently and delivered successfully.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and scheduling vehicle movements

- Managing customer requirements and delivery expectations
- Monitoring fleet utilisation and efficiency
- Problem-solving in real time when plans change

- Ensuring information is recorded accurately and consistently
- Assisting with operational planning and continuous improvement
What You'll Get In Return
- A key role within a growing transport business
- Full support from an experienced planning team
- The opportunity to learn and develop within the transport industry
- A friendly, family-business culture
- Variety, responsibility and challenge
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Long-term career progression opportunities
You'll work closely with our Senior Planner and management team, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within transport planning and logistics.
