Outsourcing Supervisor – Reading
In this role, you'll oversee a portfolio of accountancy practice clients, delivering high-quality bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts work while supporting and reviewing more junior members of the team.

We're working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Reading that's looking for an Outsourcing Supervisor / Senior Bookkeeper to join its team.
This is a great next step if you've built solid outsourcing experience and are ready for more responsibility, while still having plenty of opportunity to further develop your own skills.
The Role
You'll take ownership of work across a varied portfolio, including:
- Preparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Overseeing bookkeeping and maintaining accurate accounting records
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
- Completing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Reviewing work completed by junior team members
- Supporting, training and mentoring less experienced staff
- Liaising directly with clients and becoming a trusted point of contact
- Helping clients get the most from cloud accounting systems such as Xero and QuickBooks
About You
You'll ideally have previous outsourcing, bookkeeping or management accounts experience within a UK accountancy practice and be comfortable reviewing work and dealing directly with clients.
