Responsibilities
- Assist with materials handling, including loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload goods, adhering to all safety protocols
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and manage order processing
- Prepare shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately for dispatch
- Receive incoming shipments by inspecting deliveries for quality and accuracy, then stocking items appropriately
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before storage or shipment
- Support inventory management through stock counting, replenishment, and organization of storage areas
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation is highly advantageous; certification is a plus
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems or inventory software enhances efficiency in daily tasks
- Mechanical knowledge or aptitude helps in troubleshooting equipment and understanding product handling processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments is essential
- Strong attention to detail for quality control, order accuracy, and safety compliance
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving processes supports seamless integration into the team
