Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Technician/Process Worker to join our dynamic dental laboratory team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the creation and processing of dental prosthetics, ensuring high-quality standards are met to support patient care. Your contributions will directly impact the comfort and satisfaction of patients by producing precise dental appliances efficiently and accurately. Duties
- Prepare and process dental prosthetic components such as dentures need to have experience in casting models and flasking.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring all tools are clean, calibrated, and functioning properly.
- Assist with the fabrication of dental models using impression materials and digital scanning technology.
- Follow detailed instructions from dental technicians or dentists to ensure accurate production of dental appliances.
- Maintain organized records of work progress, materials used, and quality control checks.
- Support patient care activities by preparing materials or assisting with minor procedures as directed by licensed professionals.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate workflow and meet production deadlines.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of patient care principles related to dental health and prosthetic procedures.
- Proficiency in English for clear communication with team members and healthcare professionals.
- Prior experience or training in nursing or healthcare environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain high standards of quality.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and adhere to safety protocols.
