The Maintenance & Compliance Executive role is an exciting opportunity to help ensure our stores are maintained to the highest standards whilst operating smoothly at all times. Working alongside external contractors and internal teams, you will ensure that all planned and reactive maintenance is completed in a timely manner. This role reports into the Store Design & Build Project Manager within the Visual Experience team.
What you’ll do
Responsible for solving all reactive maintenance issues by triaging tickets submitted to the help desk by store teams, always finding the most efficient and cost effective solutions across our global retail locations.
Hold full operational accountability for all reactive repairs and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across all store locations.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure 100% adherence to all statutory compliance requirements and safety standards across the store estate.
Manage third-party contractors and oversee Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for core estate services, including cleaning, pest control, and Legionella management.
Take full ownership of the maintenance and compliance budget, driving cost-efficiency while ensuring high standards of service delivery.
Partner closely with the Senior Store Design Manager, executing all requested support tasks and operational requirements.
Drive post-opening and post-refurbishment snagging.
Visiting stores to monitor standards of repairs completed by contractors, ensuring customer experience is always prioritised.
Ensuring all regular maintenance is planned and executed to agreed timeframes, maintaining excellent record keeping. For example: PAT testing, emergency lighting tests and HVAC system checks.
Managing the process of setting up new stores into the regular maintenance schedules with multiple external contractors.
Pro-actively communicate with internal stakeholders on all maintenance and facilities issues. Liaising between store teams and external contractors to organise visits.
Own the relationship with key external contractors to ensure they are reaching our service level agreements. Regularly review contracts and agreements to ensure value for money and efficiency.
Monitoring all spend on the facilities budget, ensuring all works are kept within agreed budgets and provide forecasting as needed.
Ensure a safe working environment is maintained in all our stores by addressing H&S concerns in a timely and prioritised manner.
Organising contractors to access the Visual Experience team’s storage unit and keeping the inventory up to date.
Supporting new store openings when the Store Design & Build Project Manager is not able to attend.
Confident to complete small maintenance/repair works such as painting (preferred but not essential).

Additional Requirements
Ability to document your authorisation to work in the United Kingdom.
Travel Requirements
Regular travel to our UK Retail Locations and London Head Office. 2-3 days in London per week.
Occasionally this role will need to meet external contractors on site pre/post store opening hours when required.
