The Role:
A fantastic Primary School in Epsom is looking for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support children aged from Nursery to Year 6. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a real impact in the classroom. The role will be supporting students with a range of needs, these may include primary learning, communication, and physical difficulties such as PMLD, autism, and both mild and severe learning disabilities, often alongside additional needs.

- Have experience working in Primary Schools or with primary-aged children in the UK
- A can-do attitude
- Passionate about education, students and their learning
- Can work full-time 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
- Have experience or a strong passion for working with children with SEN
- Be patient, proactive, and adaptable
- Work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Be open to providing personal care where necessary
- Have backgrounds in education, care, psychology, or drama – all highly transferable skills
- Be willing to learn communication methods such as Makaton or PECS
