Job Summary
We are looking for a mature and friendly person of any age to help welcome our varied but mostly older client base
The successful candidate will be responsible for serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the smooth operation of the bar area.
We are looking for a reliable candidate that would be willing or open to more shifts as and when they become available in our small pub chain.
Shifts
Due to existing staff Rota this is a two week shift Pattern:
week one
Wed -------------Thurs
1700:1930 ...........1700 :1930
Week Two
Fri ........................Sat ..............................Sun
1700 - 2230...... 1630 -2130...............1700 - 2030
more hours may be available at our other venues.
Duties
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take orders using point-of-sale systems (sum up via loyverse)
- Ensure all drinks are prepared according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping surfaces and washing glassware
- Check identification to verify legal age for alcohol consumption
- Restock bar supplies and monitor stock levels regularly
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Assist with setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not mandatory; full training will be provided
- Experience working in a restaurant or bar environment is desirable
- excellent time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor with customers and colleagues alike
- Reliability, we expect every shift to be covered during probation, unless agreed such as prior holidays given in interview.
