Job Description:
We are looking for operatives with landscaping experience to help lead & develop our Landscaping Operation in the South East whilst also helping undertake invasive plant removal from domestic properties . The role is site-based and will involve some manual work, so a good level of fitness is required. There will also be a requirement to work away for short periods to facilitate jobs and support other teams across the UK.
The job will involve undertaking basic soft landscaping such as re-turfing, planting, pruning, vegetation clearance & fencing, mainly as part of reinstatement works. The job further will involve assisting in the removal and/or herbicide treatment of invasive plants such as Japanese knotweed and bamboo from both domestic and commercial properties.
- Because our works are generally short duration contracts, each day is different from the next, you must be willing to travel and be confident navigating to new locations.
- We strive for an exceptional level of customer service, so lots of attention is spent on building and maintaining relationships, requiring a "how can I help you?" attitude.
- To maintain our high standards, and ensure we are working within legal guidelines, so sticking to established procedures is important.
- Working as part of a small, close-knit team, you’ll be a conscientious and cooperative team player.
- You'll receive close supervision and support. If the job requires making decisions, you'll collaborate closely with your team and supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
We are ultimately looking for a good fit to our business over qualifications, however there are a few essential things we need you to have:
- Soft landscaping experience, 1-2 years
- Full driving licence (<6 points).
- User of Microsoft Office 365.
Key qualifications of benefit, but not essential include:
- PA1 PA6 Pesticide Application.
- CSCS card.
- Emergency First Aid at Work.
- Chainsaw/Chipper/Brush cutter.
