We’re looking for passionate Waking Nights Support Workers to support young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs. You will work on shifts, collaborate with your team members, and ensure consistent therapeutic care. Key Responsibilities of our Support Workers:
- Engage in shifts and provide high-quality, consistent care and support.
- Build safe, trusting relationships with young people using a trauma-informed and therapeutic approach.
- Support with care planning, behaviour management, and key-working responsibilities.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and incidents are reported accurately and promptly.
- Maintain detailed records, reports, and logs in line with Ofsted and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with external professionals, families, and management.
- Take part in regular training, supervisions, and team development activities.
Our Ideal Candidate will:
- Ideally hold a L3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or be willing to work towards it).
- Ideally have experience working in a residential childcare setting (desirable).
- Have a solid understanding of safeguarding, child development, and trauma-informed care.
- Have basic IT skills for using online reporting and care systems.
- A full UK driving licence (preferred).
