Stock Controller
Giavani Bathrooms | Full-time | Monday–Friday
Giavani Bathrooms is looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Stock Controller to join our growing team.
This is a key role within our operation, responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, investigating discrepancies and working closely with both the office and warehouse teams to ensure our stock levels are correct and products are available when needed.
The Role
As Stock Controller, you will take ownership of the accuracy of our stock records and help ensure stock moves efficiently through the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and maintaining accurate stock levels across the business
- Carrying out regular stock checks and physical stock counts
- Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
- Identifying stock variances, missing stock and potential losses
- Working closely with the warehouse team to ensure stock movements are recorded correctly
- Checking goods received and ensuring stock is correctly booked into the system
- Monitoring stock movements, transfers and adjustments
- Assisting with stock investigations and resolving system discrepancies
- Supporting stock rotation and ensuring products are stored correctly
- Identifying slow-moving, excess or obsolete stock
- Producing stock reports and highlighting issues to management
- Working closely with Purchasing, Sales and Warehouse teams
- Helping to improve stock accuracy and stock-control procedures
- Ensuring the stock system is kept up to date and reflects the physical stock held
About You
We're looking for someone who is methodical, organised and confident working with numbers and data.
You should:
- Have previous experience in stock control, inventory management, warehouse administration or a similar role
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be confident using Excel and computerised stock systems
- Be comfortable investigating discrepancies and getting to the root cause of problems
- Have good organisational and time-management skills
- Be able to work independently and take ownership of your workload
- Have good communication skills and be comfortable working with both office and warehouse teams
- Be practical and willing to get involved on the warehouse floor when required
- Be reliable, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Orderwise or a similar stock/order management system would be an advantage, but is not essential.

This is a full-time office-based role with regular interaction with the warehouse team and stock on site.
