Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hairdresser to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair styling, barbering, and customer service, with a flair for creating personalised looks that enhance each client's natural beauty. Duties
- Provide a wide range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments tailored to client preferences.
- Perform barbering services such as traditional cuts and grooming for male clients.
- Offer additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction.
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs, offering professional advice, and ensuring a comfortable experience.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and maintaining the salon’s organisation.
- Upsell products and services to maximise revenue while ensuring clients receive personalised recommendations.
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices to foster skill development within the team.
- Maintain a clean, organised work environment adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist with store management duties when required, contributing to the smooth operation of the salon.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser with skills in colour work, styling, and barbering.
- Knowledge of store management practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience in customer service roles within a salon or similar environment.
- Competence in front desk operations including appointment booking and client record management.
- Additional skills such as eyelash extensions and makeup application are desirable but not essential; training can be provided for motivated candidates.
- Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining excellent customer relations.
- Organised with strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- A professional attitude with a passion for beauty trends and continuous learning in the industry.
