We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, including lorries and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Deliver goods to customers' premises promptly and professionally
- Load and unload items, often involving heavy lifting, with care and attention to safety protocols
- Verify delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise during transit
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times
Skills
- Proven experience is not required.
- Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle type, Van or Car
- Ability to perform Some heavy lifting safely when handling goods or packages
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Strong organisational skills with the ability manage time effectively
- Knowledge of traffic regulations and safety standards for commercial vehicles

Pay: £120.00-£300.00 per day
