The Role
As an Internal Sales Executive, you will play an important role in developing customer relationships, generating sales opportunities and delivering profitable growth.
You'll work closely with customers and colleagues across the business to provide excellent service, identify commercial opportunities and ensure customers receive the responsive and reliable support that Tomrods is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Generate and convert sales opportunities to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Prepare and follow up quotations to maximise sales conversion.
- Understand customer requirements and provide effective commercial solutions.
- Manage customer enquiries and orders from initial contact through to delivery.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations and Logistics teams to ensure excellent customer service.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate customer and order information within company systems.
- Monitor customer activity, market developments and competitor activity.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience that encourages repeat business and long-term loyalty.
Who We're Looking For

Experience
The following would be advantageous but are not essential. This is an ideal opportunity to commence a career in sales with full product training:
- Experience in sales, account management, customer service or another customer-facing role.
- Experience within steel stockholding, manufacturing, construction or industrial sectors.
