Care home Cook
We are looking for an enthusiastic Cook to prepare and cook meals for around 28 people living in our care home.
You will be working on a two weekly rota, shift pattens are;
Week 1 - 07.00-16.00 3 days per week
Week 2- 07.00-16.00 2 days per week
Your responsibility is to provide a well balanced, nutritious menu to residents within the home.
Your role will be to prepare/cook fresh food for lunch and tea, baking homemade cakes, clean down and supporting practices for Safer Food, Better Business.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Must have experience working in a kitchen
- NVQ level 2 in Cooking is preferred but not essential
- To have experience working with elderly is preferred
