As part of our expansion, we are seeking an ambitious Sales & Marketing Executive to increase awareness of our services, develop new business opportunities and build long-term relationships with healthcare providers throughout the UK.
Role Purpose
The Sales & Marketing Executive will be responsible for promoting LabMedExpert's diagnostic services, generating new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships and supporting the company's commercial growth strategy.
The successful candidate will proactively identify potential clients, arrange meetings, prepare proposals, coordinate marketing campaigns and increase the visibility of LabMedExpert within both the NHS and private healthcare sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Drive new business across NHS Trust pathology departments and private clinics and surgeries
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across NHS organisations, private hospitals, GP practices, specialist clinics and healthcare providers.
- Promote LabMedExpert's histopathology, blood testing and microbiology services.
- Build strong relationships with practice managers.
- Arrange and attend client meetings, presentations and networking events.
- Generate new enquiries and convert them into long-term clients.
- Develop strategic account plans for major customers.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct weekly face-to-face visits to GP practices, private clinics, hospitals, medical centres, specialist consultants and healthcare organisations to promote LabMedExpert's diagnostic services.
- Develop and maintain a structured weekly client visit schedule to maximise market coverage and generate new business opportunities.
- Increase awareness of LabMedExpert's UKAS-accredited histopathology, blood testing, microbiology and other laboratory services through regular client engagement.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clinicians, practice managers, procurement teams and healthcare decision-makers.
- Identify potential clients and convert leads into long-term service contracts.
- Follow up all quotations, proposals and enquiries promptly to maximise conversion into new business.
- Maintain an accurate pipeline of prospective clients using the Company's CRM or client database.
- Represent LabMedExpert at exhibitions, conferences, networking events and healthcare meetings to increase brand visibility and generate business opportunities.
- Gather client feedback during visits and communicate opportunities for service improvement to management.
Marketing
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness.
- Promote LabMedExpert across LinkedIn and other professional platforms.
- Coordinate newsletters, promotional materials and product brochures.
- Support the production of marketing content including case studies.
- Identify market opportunities.
- Represent LabMedExpert at exhibitions, conferences and healthcare events.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct regular client visits.
- Manage customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
- Support contract renewals and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and additional services.
Tender & Proposal Support
- Assist in preparing quotations and proposals.
- Support responses to tenders where required.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
- Keep accurate records of all sales activities using the company CRM system.
Market Intelligence
- Research emerging healthcare markets.
- Monitor laboratory competitors.
- Identify new service opportunities.
- Provide monthly market intelligence reports.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The successful candidate will be measured against:
- Number of new client meetings per month.
- Number of new clients secured.
- Monthly sales revenue.
- Client retention rate.
- Number of marketing campaigns completed.
- Website and LinkedIn engagement.
- Proposal conversion rate.

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in Sales and Marketing
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate effectively.

- Ability to build relationships with senior healthcare professionals.

- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel across the UK.
