Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to clients and customers.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring punctuality.
- Load and unload items with care, ensuring all deliveries are secure during transit.
- Verify delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures upon receipt.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous manner during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Experience as a delivery driver preferred but not essential.
- Valid driving licence
- Good organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
