Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces and ensuring all areas are free of dust, dirt, and debris
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
- Follow safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or health hazards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor promptly
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in service delivery
- Maintain a tidy storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is organized and accessible
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is advantageous
- Reliable with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills to report issues or complete documentation as needed
