Front of House Team Member
We’re looking for confident, energetic and well-presented Front of House staff to join our growing team at The Bombay.
We’re creating a lively, polished and welcoming restaurant experience, so we’re looking for people who are naturally comfortable with customers, take pride in their presentation and can bring personality and positive energy to the floor.
Previous hospitality experience is preferred, but you don’t need to know our menu or service style inside out - basic training will be provided.
What We’re Looking For
- Confident, friendly and engaging personality
- Well-presented with high standards of personal grooming
- Comfortable speaking and interacting with customers
- Some previous restaurant, bar or hospitality experience preferred
- Comfortable learning tablet ordering and EPOS systems
- Able to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Available evenings and weekends
- Willing to learn and follow The Bombay’s service standards
Your Role
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take food and drink orders using our tablet ordering system
- Serve food and drinks confidently and professionally
- Check back with tables and respond to guest requests
- Support both floor and bar service when required
- Clear, clean and reset tables efficiently
- Maintain high standards of presentation throughout the restaurant
- Learn the menu and confidently answer basic customer questions
- Work alongside management and the wider team during busy services
- Help create the energetic, polished atmosphere we want guests to remember
Who This Would Suit
You don’t need years of fine-dining experience. We’re more interested in confidence, personality, presentation, reliability and willingness to learn.

Pay: £8.00-£13.00 per hour
