Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a well established and prestigious school. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, corridors, washrooms, and communal areas
- utilise cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure high standards of hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures in accordance with company protocols
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks to management
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within designated timeframes and to the required standard
- Restock supplies as needed and keep storage areas organised and tidy
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
