SMILEY FACES NURSERY are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. A qualified level 3 would be preferable.
Job Description: Nursery nurse
Desired: -
· Full and relevant level 3 childcare qualification
· A current Paediatric First Aid certificate;
· Up to date safeguarding certificates.
· If these are not held by the individual, and we believe you are the best candidate for the job, all training will be provided.
Applications are also welcome from individuals who are unqualified but interested in gaining a full and relevant level 3 qualification through our Apprentice training provider. To meet this criteria you must be fully committed to engage in and keep up with coursework in line with the training provider and to on-the-job learning.
Nursery nurse required due to an increase in children. Our ideal candidate will need to:
· Have a genuine love of children, an interest or knowledge
· Enjoy working with children and helping them to reach their full potential;
· Be able to work as part of a team;
· Be able to use own initiative and also follow directions;
· Be able to work in partnership with parents and carers;
· Have knowledge of the EYFS, be able to observe and assess key children and plan next steps and implement these to help them to reach their full potential.
· Be reliable.
· Be available Monday to Friday 8am until 6pm, term time.
Please note: The successful candidate must be able to meet the following criteria:-
· A clear enhanced DBS;
· A minimum of two references which must be emailed from a legitimate source, including your most recent place of employment, college or somewhere where you have worked with children; be verifiable via a telephone call. References from family members are not acceptable.
· A completed Application form with a full employment history, where all gaps in employment history are explained.
