The Holiday Inn, Nottingham is looking for a Night Porter who is genuine, friendly and resourceful. A person who cares enough to go the extra mile to give our guests a great experience
The Hotel, has 128 Bedrooms, 5 small Conference Rooms and a full service Restaurant with Bar.
Role Criteria
Our Ideal Candidate will have at least one years’ experience of working in a customer service role
Ensure the completions of the daily task sheet and the smooth running of the reception desk.
Be able to check detailed reports for errors whilst balancing and resolving issues from the days banking.
You will have the ability to work in different areas of the hotel form serving customers in the bar to delivering and producing room service orders whilst providing high level of customer service.
Follow instructions and information regarding setting meeting rooms and refreshing conference stock.
Previous hotel experience is desirable but full training will be given. Knowledge of Opera systems would be an advantage.
Shift patterns include weekends and Bank Holidays and will be spread across 5 days per week. Working hours are from 11pm till 7am. This will be based on covering staff holidays and staff sickness.
You must be smart and presentable with the ability to handle guest issues and resolve complaints.
