Job Overview
We are seeking someone who can manage LV and HV distribution from mobilisation through construction, completion and close-out. We welcome established Project Managers and experienced Supervisors or Site Managers who are ready to take on broader projects responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects through construction, handover and close-out.
- Review scope of works, programme, resources and delivery requirements.
- Coordinate labour, plant, materials, access, outages, traffic management and specialist interfaces.
- Lead supervisors and operational functions, resolve delivery issues and maintain clear priorities when handling tasks.
- Identify risks early, raise EWN (Early warning notices) to alert staff of any commercial changes within projects
- Maintain client communication, construction records/ documentation, completion evidence and NAMS/ client submissions
What you'll bring
- At least five years electricity distribution experience
- Practical LV and HV knowledge with sound site delivery
- Strong planning, communication, problem solving capability
- Good understanding of CDM, safe systems of work and project documentation.
- OHL, DNO Framework, outage or NAMS experience would be beneficial
Safety Focus
- Ensure site teams have the relevant work packs briefings
- Work by side of supervisors and site managers to confirm site responsibilities
- Good understanding of site safety, including RAMS and permits
Project Manager shift rotations and working patterns can be negotiated, subject to the candidate's circumstances, project commitments and operational requirements. Pay will also be discussed based off of experience and be competitive
Pay: £60,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
