Salary: £23,000 – £28,000 pro rata, depending on experience

Working Pattern: Hybrid and flexible working available after probationary period
Holiday: 31 days annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing with service up to an additional 5 days – pro rata

We're looking for a talented Payroll Assistant to join our TC MMG team. There is flexibility to work in any of our seven office locations, Dundee, Perth, Brechin, Forfar, Montrose, Blairgowrie and Kinross. The Opportunity
As a Payroll Assistant, you'll be an important part of our payroll team, supporting a varied portfolio of clients and ensuring payrolls are processed accurately, efficiently and on time. You'll build strong client relationships, provide day-to-day payroll support and play a key role in delivering a high-quality service. What You'll Be Doing
As our Payroll Assistant, you'll be responsible for:

Processing payrolls accurately and on time across a variety of pay frequencies, including weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly and monthly payrolls.

Collecting, validating and exchanging payroll data, ensuring employee information is maintained accurately and confidentially.

Supporting pension administration and ensuring compliance with HMRC, Auto Enrolment and payroll legislation requirements.

Providing excellent client service by responding to payroll queries and offering timely support and guidance.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the payroll team to ensure deadlines are met and service standards are maintained.

Taking ownership of assigned payrolls, managing your workload effectively and maintaining a high level of accuracy and accountability.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

Previous payroll experience, ideally within a payroll bureau or accountancy practice.

Experience processing weekly and monthly payrolls.

Experience using BrightPay payroll software.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
