THE OPPORTUNITY
The Operator/Maintainer is required to operate the Terminal, Plant and equipment and undertake basic plant maintenance duties as authorised by the Terminal Supervisor, and within the scope of his/her experience and training.
KEY TASKS
1. Operate and undertake basic maintenance of plant and equipment for the loading/ off-loading of ships, loading of vehicles, bag plants, blending plants and any other required equipment in line with established procedures and training.
2. Operate and undertake basic maintenance of mobile plant in line with established procedures, training and authorisation.
3. Carry out your duties in a safe and effective manner, ensuring that, by your actions, you do not endanger yourself or any other person who may be affected by your actions and that you comply with your Quality and Environmental responsibilities.
4. Support and assist the dispatch function by issuing dispatch documentation as required.
5. Support and assist the quality control function by taking and preparing samples in line with set procedures and training.
