Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately, ensuring recycling protocols are followed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any repairs or shortages promptly.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise hazards in the workplace.
- Ensure all areas are kept organised, tidy, and presentable throughout the working shift.
- Respond promptly to special cleaning requests or urgent spillages to maintain a clean environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Reliable with good organisational skills and punctuality.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
