JOB DESCRIPTION: HGV Class 2 Driver
Reporting to: Depot Manager
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (some early starts)
Starting rate £15.00 per hour
Location: Okehampton
Purpose:
To join an established team of drivers within our Okehampton Depot working for the UK’s largest specialist excavator hire company.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collection and delivery of a range of equipment including mini digger to heavy plant hire to customers across the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors. The role will involve the loading, delivery and collecting of construction equipment. The driver must be confident to be able to load and unload the equipment onto the lorry and deliver it safely.
If you are not out driving, you will be required to assist in the yard with ad hoc duties.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience - minimum of 6 months HGV driving experience commercially in the UK
- Driving Licence with C+E category, CPC Qualification Card, Tacho Card
- Positive attitude
- Willingness to work some additional or weekend hours is desirable
