SEN Teaching Assistant – September Start

Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity this September?
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive Primary School in North London for a full-time, long-term position starting in September.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assisting children with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties and SEMH needs
- Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to help pupils achieve their full potential
- Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement and independence within the classroom
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
✅ Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
✅ A relevant degree (Psychology, Education, Child Development or similar) or previous experience working with children or young people
✅ A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
✅ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
