Job Overview
To fuel continued growth, we are recruiting for a warehouse operative to support our logistic processes. This is an excellent opportunity to join our friendly team and work in a highly rewarding role. We are looking for someone who can work independently with a high level of attention to detail and be able to prioritise thier workload.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receive incoming deliveries, cross check the contents of delivery to our purchase order, log details into our systems and report discrepancies back to the team.
- Neutralise inward deliveries, photograph items as required and repackage items in packaging suitable for export.
- Receive and process incoming shipping requests from our operations, locate the parcels, attach the paperwork and make ready for shipment
- Ensure conformance to health and safety protocol and risk assessment including for all visitors on site.
- Operate the forklift in a safe and responsible manner, loading and unloading vehicles as required.
Qualifications and competencies
- Educated to GCSE level.
- Competent using a PC & working knowledge of Outlook
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Confident, well organised multi-tasker
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Forklift license and experience preferred.
Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
