Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Glasgow. Applicant must have relevant experience in CAD Engineering in an engineering Manufacturing Environment. Be able to Design and develop both New and existing projects.
Working Hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-1pm

Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks.
- Prepare schematics and technical documentation to support construction and civil engineering projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards.
- Review and modify existing CAD drawings to incorporate updates or improvements.
- Assist in the coordination of design models across different software platforms to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Support project teams during the construction phase by providing technical guidance on CAD-related issues.
- Maintain organised digital files of all drawings and models for easy retrieval and version control.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CAD Engineer or similar role within the construction or civil engineering sectors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of schematics development and technical drawing standards.
- Familiarity with construction processes and project workflows.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering plans accurately.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in complex design environments.
- Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects is advantageous. Pay: £24,420.00-£35,500.00 per year
