Following our most recent Ofsted inspection in May 2026, our established 4-bed children's home in Redditch achieved a Good rating, with no requirements or recommendations. We are now looking for an ambitious and child-focused Registered Manager to lead the home on its journey towards Outstanding.
Regular and ongoing support, challenge and professional development will be provided by an experienced Responsible Individual and senior leadership team.
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the home, ensuring children receive safe, nurturing and high-quality care. You will maintain compliance with regulatory standards, lead and develop the staff team, and drive positive outcomes for children and young people.

Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the children's home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, quality standards and organisational policies.
- Take responsibility for safeguarding children and young people, risk management and service governance.
- Ensure children have access to services that meet their health, education, social, psychological and emotional needs and promote positive outcomes.
- Monitor children's outcomes, progress and achievements in line with their care plans.
- Provide management supervision to staff, whilst reviewing and monitoring standards of care, practice and service development.
- Work collaboratively with commissioners, local authorities, education providers and health practitioners.
- Lead, supervise and support staff members, including recruitment, induction, training and performance management to maintain high standards of care.
Experience
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willing to work towards)
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in children’s residential
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working in children’s residential in supervisory/management role
Pay: £52,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
