Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
- Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee premises continuously
- Conduct regular security checks, inspections, and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious activities
- Enforce security policies by verifying identities of visitors and contractors
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraudulent activities
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary and coordinate with emergency responders as needed
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and monitoring footage
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to minimize theft and inventory shrinkage
- Ability to remain alert, attentive, and composed during long shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors
- Basic first aid certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire
- Familiarity with security protocols, emergency procedures, and safety regulations
