About Creative Hospitality Group
Creative Hospitality Group (CHG) operates a portfolio of hospitality venues across South Wales, including bars, restaurants, entertainment venues and accommodation businesses. We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and commercially minded Operations Support Manager to work alongside our Head of Operations and support the continued growth and development of the business.
This is a hands-on operational role that will suit someone who enjoys being out in venues, developing teams, driving standards and identifying opportunities to improve performance across multiple sites.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, building strong relationships with venue management teams and providing practical support to ensure operational excellence across the group. Multi-site operational support, compliance auditing and team development are key elements of the role.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Support
- Support the Head of Operations in the day-to-day management of CHG venues.
- Conduct regular operational insight visits across all CHG sites.
- Carry out competitor visits and market research to identify industry trends, best practices and commercial opportunities.
- Produce operational reports and recommendations following site visits.
- Support venue management teams in delivering company objectives and operational standards.
Training and Development
- Deliver operational training to General Managers, Duty Managers and team members.
- Support the development and implementation of SOPs, training programmes and operational procedures.
- Identify development opportunities within teams and assist in succession planning.
- Support new team inductions and management development programmes.
EPOS Management
- Manage and maintain CHG EPOS systems across all venues.
- Create and update products, menus, pricing structures and reporting tools.
- Support venues with EPOS troubleshooting and training.
- Produce operational and commercial reporting from EPOS data to support decision-making.
Compliance and Auditing
- Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly operational audits across all venues.
- Monitor compliance relating to food safety, licensing, health and safety, brand standards and company procedures.
- Track audit outcomes and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Support venues in maintaining legal and operational compliance standards. Compliance auditing and operational reviews are a key component of effective hospitality operations management.
New Openings and Menu Development
- Support venue openings, refurbishments and operational projects.
- Assist with menu development, menu implementation and operational rollouts.
- Coordinate training and operational readiness for new launches.
- Work alongside marketing, finance and venue management teams to ensure successful project delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospitality management, operations or multi-site support role.
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations, food and beverage service and customer experience.
- Experience conducting audits, inspections or operational reviews.
- Experience training and developing teams.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office .
- Excellent organisational, communication and report-writing skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
Desirable
- Multi-site hospitality experience.
- Experience with hospitality EPOS systems.
- Personal Licence Holder qualification.
- Food Safety and Health & Safety qualifications.
Working Hours
This role requires flexibility and will include:
- Daytime operational support.
- Evening venue visits.
- Weekend working as required.
- Attendance at key company events, openings and launches.
