Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Equipment Engineer to join our team. We are proud to say our staff have been with us for many years with a very low staff turnover.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in gas safe engineering and have a mechanical/electrical aptitude.
Based in Carlisle but covering Cumbria and South West Scotland - This role involves ensuring the safe maintenance, and repair of commercial catering appliances in a commercial setting, covering; hotels, care homes, schools, cafes, restaurants etc.
Great Working Hours - Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm
Excellent financial package for the ideal candidate with full uniform provided and a company van for personal use.
Duties
- Install, maintain, diagnose and repair commercial catering appliances, both gas and electrical.
- Perform routine servicing of both gas and electrical catering equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Maintain records of work completed and materials used.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team or independently
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Gas Engineer with gas safe certification.
We can provide additional training to bring the certification to Commercial standards: CCCN1, COMCAT1/2/3, TPCP1, ICPN1 for the right person.
- Electrical, mechanical knowledge would be an advantage
- Full valid driving licence
