SR Drivers are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers on behalf of a well-established logistics client based in Coventry (CV5).

Pay & Benefits
- £16.00 per hour PAYE or, £17.93 per hour PAYE with holiday pay included
- Weekly pay

The Role
- Trunking work between depots and distribution centres
- Trailer swaps and drop & hook duties
- No handball or multi-drop deliveries
- Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Accurate completion of driver paperwork and PODs
- Maintaining excellent road safety and compliance standards
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts only
- Start times from 04:30
- Ongoing temporary work with regular shifts available
Requirements
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience (essential due to insurance requirements)
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours, tachograph regulations and road transport legislation
- Professional, reliable and safety-focused approach
- No major driving endorsements
