Boxford Farms Ltd is looking for a motivated, reliable, and hardworking individual to join our Orchard Construction Team.
Working closely with the Orchard Construction Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the construction, maintenance, and development of our orchards and related infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical outdoor work and wants to be part of a growing and dynamic business.
Key Responsibilities
As an Orchard Construction Assistant, your duties will include:
- Supporting orchard construction, maintenance, and repair activities
- Assisting with new orchard development and construction projects
- Monitoring project progress and performance
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Supporting project reporting requirements
- Assisting with staff training and motivation
- Ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently
- Undertaking other duties as required to support the Orchard Construction Team
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- A full UK Driving Licence (Category B)
- Experience in construction, maintenance, agriculture, or a similar practical environment
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Competent spoken and written English
- The right to work in the UK (essential)
