An AGM is required for a bar in Manchester. Looking after all the elements of a bar, the right candidate will have input and influence over; cocktail menu development, staff recruitment, staff training, entertainment and the overall direction of the business.
Working for a privately owned company, we are looking for someone who has a passion for delivering high quality service, ability to work with initiative and utilise their creative flair within the role.
Daily Duties:
- Managing staff rota and ensuring that FOH is fully staffed to meet customer requirements
- Working with Door staff
- Working with DJ's
- Train and manage a small team
- Develop and implement new cocktails
- Creating a positive and motivated environment for your staff
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Monitoring and the management of stock
- The setting-up of and closing of the bar with adherence to hygiene and cleanliness
- Management, knowledge and understanding of modern EPOS systems
- Monitoring guests to ensure licensing laws are adhered to
- Locking up and securing the venue and ensuring all guests have safely left the premises
- Flexibility to be able to work weekends and evenings
- Flexibility to assist with other tasks when necessary
- Recruiting bar staff directly or indirectly. Assist with your teams training needs
- Liaising with local council and police to ensure that the venue is compliant at all times
This job entails working 2 late shifts on Friday & Saturday night where the finish will be 7am.
