Responsibilities
- Lead food preparation and cooking processes to produce high-quality dishes that meet menu specifications and presentation standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and oversea all food preparation.
- Ensuring timely delivery of orders during busy service hours
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless serving of meals and exceptional guest satisfaction
- Develop new menu items that reflect current culinary trends and guest preferences
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience with a track record of leading a successful team
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and hygiene practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Demonstrated expertise in culinary techniques, food presentation, and menu development
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times while maintaining attention to detail
