We are recruiting for the exciting role of Seasonal Goods-In Assistant to support our busy Goods-In team in our Farm Shop throughout the festive season.

Founded in 1871, today Garsons is an award-winning destination Garden Centre, Farm Shop and Restaurant with locations in Esher, Surrey and Titchfield, Hampshire. Garsons Esher is also home to one of the UK's largest pick-your-own farms.
What does the role involve?
The role will support in the smooth running of the Goods-In department.
We are seeking an individual who has a keen eye for detail and can deliver a first-class customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive deliveries ensuring quality and quantity checks.
- Assist in resolving purchase and goods receipt queries.
- Carry out daily manual handling tasks, e.g., loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, moving stock and standing for long periods of time.
- Liaise with departments and customers.
- Ensure housekeeping standards of the Stores are maintained, supporting a safe and tidy working environment.
- Assist in shop floor replenishment when required.
What skills and experience do you need?
- Have experience working in a similar warehouse environment or stock control.
- A valid forklift certificate would be advantageous but not essential.
- Be competent and confident with computer work.
- Be able to work under pressure at a fast pace and have a flexible attitude.
- Enjoy working as part of a highly motivated team.
Contract: This is a fixed-term, full-time role. Immediate start through to 31st December.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.

From £12.80 per hour.
