Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils with efficiency and care
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support bakers .
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is sanitized, stored properly, and in good working order
- Support the organization of ingredients and supplies to facilitate smooth workflow during busy production times
- Dispose of waste responsibly and manage recycling procedures in accordance with health standards
- Help with setting up preparation area before or after shifts
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards and prevent accidents
Skills
- Experience in food preparation or working in a bakery or kitchen is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and cleanliness protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving supplies throughout shifts
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
- Basic knowledge of culinary practices and serving procedures is a plus
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and customer service
