This hybrid role offers the perfect balance of 20 hours of administrative and supervisory duties and 20 hours of hands‑on care, ensuring you stay connected to both our clients and our care team.
Your Role at Clarity Homecare Horncastle
Office-Based & Supervisory Responsibilities (20 hours)
- Carry out care plan reviews, risk assessments, spot checks, and quality monitoring in line with Clarity Homecare and CQC standards.
- Support with staff competency assessments, and ongoing development.
- Assist with rota management, ensuring safe and efficient coverage of all care calls.
- Support with the on-call on a rota basis.
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, and staff, promoting a positive and responsive service.
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and contribute to continuous service improvement.
- Support recruitment and onboarding, including shadowing, induction tasks, and compliance checks.
Care & Support in the Community (20 hours)
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes.
- Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing in every interaction.
- Support with personal care, medication prompts, meal preparation, and daily living tasks.
- Provide emergency cover when required to ensure continuity of care.
- Act as a role model for the care team, demonstrating Clarity Homecare’s values in practice.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in domiciliary care, ideally in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of CQC requirements and person-centred care.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- A calm, professional approach and the ability to work independently.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
