We are currently recruiting for a professional and reliable Mobile Security Officer to join our team
This is a permanent night-shift opportunity working a 4 on, 4 off rotation, providing an average of 36 hours per week.
The Role
As a Mobile Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a strong and visible security presence while carrying out regular patrols and security checks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting mobile patrols of assigned sites in line with company procedures
- Locking and unlocking client premises as scheduled
- Responding promptly to alarm activations and emergency call-outs
- Completing internal and external security checks
- Inspecting buildings, gates, fences and surrounding areas for signs of intrusion, damage or safety hazards
- Reporting incidents, accidents, defects and suspicious activity accurately
- Completing detailed patrol and incident reports
- Maintaining company vehicles and ensuring they are kept clean and regularly inspected
- Operating communication equipment professionally
- Liaising with clients, management and emergency services when required
- Providing a visible security presence to help deter crime and anti-social behaviour
- Following all company policies, health and safety procedures and legal requirements
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
- A valid SIA Licence
- A full UK manual driving licence
- Excellent English communication skills
- A professional and presentable approach
- Strong customer service skills
- Confidence working independently and as a lone worker
- Good computer skills
- A strong understanding of good housekeeping standards
- The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
