Sewing Machinist
Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity to learn a transferrable skill. We are a successful local manufacturing business within the Exhibitions and Events Industry specialising in textile graphics and flags.
Unfortunately sewing has been a dying art over the last couple of decades so we are looking to train up the next generation of skilled sewing machinists.
Our busy sewing department is responsible for making flags, banners and large exhibition graphics. In this position you will learn to use industrial sewing machines including single and twin needle machines as well as overlockers and kedar machines to make printed event and exhibition graphics for our customers.
If you have interest in sewing or textiles this could be the position that sets you on your creative path.
The team are very friendly and the working environment is excellent.
The position is full time and permanent.
